Wrestler Sakshi Malik to inaugurate Dasara sports meet – Mysuru Today - citytoday

Mysuru: To mark the inauguration of the state-level Dasara sports meet, District In-charge Minister S T Somashekar lit a lamp after offering puja to Goddess Chamundeshwari.  The minister said Olympic medallist Sakshi Malik will inaugurate the Dasara sports meet and Sports Minister Narayanagowda will be present.

In all, 4,500 athletes from all over Karnataka are expected to take part in the sports meet in what promises to be a tough battle for supremacy. Due arrangements have been made for the athletes, the minister said.

MLA L Nagendra, MP Pratap Simha and athletes were present on the occasion.
